200 000 people gathering with roses in Oslo to remember lost friends after the attack 22.07.11
The day after the norwegian national day. Fiesta for the birds in the park..?
..fast as lightning, he climbed the building..
A picture from Venice taken with the Nokia N8 using the panorama app.
Picture from Kullaberg in Skåne. I dont usually do b&w. Frame is a "filter forge" standard frame.
Snow melt has started early this year. Some say its because of the weather and that it will "save" us from the situation with low water reservoirs. I think it is because of the thin snow layer and the fact that racks has been able to absorb the sunlight more effectively. This means that snow melt can start early, but will also finnish early. It is like withdrwing all your money from the bank thinking it will save you from going broke.. well yes maby in the short range but.. (Nokia N8 photo)
Clouds and fjords
Sognefjord in April, Norway. Picture taken with Nokia N8, no edit straight from the phone.
Snow shoe hiking in "Hurrungane" mountains in Norway, April. Unfortunately less snow than normal. Picture taken with Nokia N8, direct from phone no afterwork done.
After white, before green
In southern Sweden this weekend, temperatures were "spring like". But the long winter has made the green colors wait a bit.. Here an example of how photoshopping can make a grey/brownish tree look interresting.
Just another "white" pic while Im at it. Here Telemark skiiing in Haukeli.
Lack of snow
Spring is comeing fast. Snow is melting in the city, and with very little snow in the mountains and so much rocks sticking out of the snow, the snow melt will probably be quick also there. Better use the snow while its still there. With water reservoirs at record low levels, and this little snow in the mountains, price of energy is going to be a hot debate the rest of the year..
About time to add something to the "blog". A current debate in Norway; should thay build "monster masts" across Hardanger to improve energy support to western Norway..?
..surfing secret spot, Dakar, Senegal.
..of Mour surfing in Senegal
Local guy ripping at N´gor left. The wave know from the cult movie "Endless summer". Today the local kids surf here every day. Good to see that surfing has brougt happiness to the local kids, and as for this guy working as a surf instructor, also opportunities of employment.
Friends from home visiting in Oslo. A weekend with sightseeing and party. Here the "day after" in the Vigeland Park
Under a thin blanket of high altitude altostratus, a single Cumulus Humilis formed over the city.
Our little neigbourhood
Went for a short uninspired photo walk today, came back with a picture of one of the small parks in the area. Made it even "smaller" with fake tilt shift..
Short visit home
After a long stressful period of work, a visit in the old neigbourhood and surroundings is a good way to calm down. Here we are for a stop for the traditional ice cream in Mölle.
Reflection in a pond in the Palace garden. You`ll never know who`s looking back at you..
Small train big forest
Somewhere in the forest north of Oslo. Fake tilt shift is fun :)
Moved to Oslo a few weeks ago.. again.. They built this while I was gone.
The sky, the tree and the field.
At the end of the potato field, there was this beautiful tree. It didn`t look like it belonged there in Stavanger.
From a fisheye point of view..
Took an evening walk on the beach of Sola, Stavanger. With my girlfriend and my fish eye.
In southwestern Norway, close to the famous mountain "Kjerag", this cabin hangs out over the steep slopes, with a nice view over Lysefjorden, and the small village Lysebotn.
